Train & backpack
2 station-to-station routes (not signposted)
6 station-to-station walks between Famenne, Ardenne and Gaume
Travel through three magnificent regions of Wallonia without using your car, thanks to the Train & Backpack itineraries! This new network of walks offers 16 routes from 12 to 62 km, making a total of 280 km of walking, connecting 12 stations and 1 TEC stop.
From the Grande Forêt de Saint-Hubert to the Gaume, via the southern Ardennes, you'll pass through forests, typical villages and footpaths on the banks of the Lesse, Lomme and Semois rivers, and be able to admire breathtaking views. The itineraries also feature natural, heritage and cultural attractions....
Each walk is featured in a leaflet containing a map of the route, a QR code to access the GPX track associated with the itinerary, details of the main points of interest and practical information. All these materials are available free of charge from tourist offices and Maisons du tourisme throughout the region. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have!
